2009 Midsummer Arts Faire Honorary Chairwoman - Jennifer Mead Gervasi

The Midsummer Arts Faire board of directors announced that Jennifer Mead Gervasi will be the event's first Honorary Chairperson. The 6th annual Midsummer Arts Faire will be held on June 26-28, 2009 in Quincy’s Washington Park.

Gervasi is a recent resident of Quincy but she is not new to the arts. She currently serves on the Quincy Society of Fine Arts board as well as the boards of the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association and the Quincy Art Center.

Gervasi also volunteers for the Quincy Community Theatre and actively works as a volunteer at Quincy University where her husband, Dr. Robert Gervasi, is president. "I am honored and thrilled to be a part of the 2009 Midsummer Arts Faire," says Gervasi. "Being a part of the event allows me to combine my passion for the arts and admiration for my new community and the way it embraces the arts."
