What does creativity look like? The Midsummer Arts Faire gives you a unique
opportunity to see for yourself. Spend a day at Washington Park and meet top quality
artists from our region and beyond as they open their booths so you can learn more
about their art, process, and inspiration. You're also likely to find many artists creating new work right before your eyes.
The Midsummer Arts Faire is a juried fine art exhibit and sale, which means only
the best of the best applicants are chosen to exhibit through the competitive jury
process. We're proud to showcase these 50 artists presenting original works in oils and
acrylics, watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, photography, textiles and more.
As if the fantastic visual artists aren't enough, this three-day festival is a celebration of all forms of art. Performing artists fill the park with a variety of styles throughout the weekend including music, dance and theatrical performances. The food court gives visitors a variety of culinary experiences in taste and smell.
Now in its 8th year, the Midsummer Arts Faire was founded by local artist Pat Surface with support from a variety of community and cultural organizations. A fine art festival of this caliber would not be possible without strong community support. Thanks to this strong continued support the Midsummer Arts Faire was able to fund art projects at local elementary schools this year. Thank you to our business, organizational and individual sponsors for your gracious financial and in-kind investments, and a very sincere heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers who work tirelessly to make this weekend a special event for the tri-state region.
We hope you enjoy this year's Midsummer Arts Faire!
Sincerely,
The Midsummer Arts Faire
