Children's Activities

No parents allowed at the Midsummer Arts Faire Young Collectors Gallery – an experience designed to inspire young people to become connoisseurs of fine art.

Midsummer Arts Faire participating artists and area artists donate small pieces of original work to be sold to children ages 4-14 for under $10. Volunteers will be on hand to accompany small children as they make their selections. The Young Collectors Gallery helps young people develop their own unique taste for fine art and will be open all day Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am until all the artwork is sold.

A portion of the proceeds from the Gallery supports school art programs in the area. The first grant for $500 was presented to Blessed Sacrament in 2008. Madison School and Payson Seymour each received $500 in 2009.
